-> Cheeky fit with a scoop neckline and a low scoop back
-> Forgiving, functional, and mid-weight fabric
-> 82% Polyester, 18% Spandex
This kaikamahine swimsuit has it all - comfortable fit, elastic fabric, and a deep-colored print that won't fade in the sun and water. The double-layered front, bias binding, and 38–40 UPF ensure that the kids can be their active selves, and the parents don't have to worry about any wardrobe malfunctions.
Manu ʻIwa are aerodynamic wonders of the seascape and have long been regarded a bit of a mystery. Their seven-foot wingspan, forked tail, narrow, angled wings and light body mean they can spend months at sea without ever landing.
They are so adept to life at sea it is rare to see them on land making it hard to observe the life of the ʻIwa. On land their small legs and feet can do little more than perch on branches or steep cliffs. What they lack on land, they make up for in flight. Ocean flight is their superpower and what a superpower it is to soar up to 2.5 miles above sea level, through tumultuous storms and freezing temperatures.
Wash & Care Instructions
-> As with all swimwear, be careful to avoid velcro or snags as it will pull some of the white fibers from beneath the design. Especially the darker colors.
->Polyester and Spandex are plastic and will melt overtime in hot water and heated dryers. Hand-wash cold for longevity. Dirt and grime wash out easily with soap and a soft bristled brush or by rubbing the suit together.
-> Hang dry in the shade.
-> Do not dry clean
Keiki sizing can be hard to nail down as kids tend to range in size and age. Generally, and depending on your child, these suits can run a tad on the smaller size. It is best to order one bigger in our ʻŌpio bodysuits. If anything they will always quickly grow into it!
Size guide - Imperial (US)
Size guide - Metric (the rest of the world…)
Made only when you order it with direct to consumer shipping to limit waste and reduce carbon emissions. Please allow 7-9 business days for delivery.
