The Big Three

It is said that we are the FIRST generation to be able to feel and see the effects of climate change and the LAST generation who can do anything about it.

PLANET

What was taken from the earth to make the product you are purchasing and how will it return to the earth? Your education is the one thing no one can take away from you.

PEOPLE

Next up in #TheBigThree is... People. And they matter, like really matter.

#ShopLocal is more than a trendy hashtag. The core of "why" producing and supporting businesses closer to home is better is, often times, lost and diluted. Accessing accurate information today is challenging. The further distant a place or situation is to us the further our ability to discern pono (fair) actions. We are not just paying for a product, we are paying for the process as a whole, to help the whole.

We consider proximity to place because we do not wield our purchasing power lightly.

SUSTAINABLE VS. RESPONSIBLE

To be ʻsustainableʻ is to maintain a certain rate or level. In todays fashion culture, we believe the industry must radically change before becoming "sustainable."

Having an obligation to do something is ʻresponsible.ʻ We all have this. We must act responsibly.

PRODUCTS

A closer look reveals that the sheer volume of natural resources being consumed and products being thrown away on a daily basis is shocking.

As a small business, our capacity is limited but we can stay true to our kuleana. Kuleana is our anchor. We do our due diligence, improving small areas as we grow so we can all grow together. This is the way.

HE ALIʻI KA ʻĀINA. HE KAUWĀ KE KANAKA.
